To assist you, the student of American History, in grasping the various and complex events, personalities and legal documents involved in the Civil Rights Movement, you are being asked to present the information in timeline form. You and three other classmates will play the role of curators at a local museum. The upcoming exhibit is about the evolution of the Civil Rights Movement.

The exhibit is designed to have four levels of information, each on a different timeline, each timeline must share the same basic chronological units and illustrate corresponding events and personalities concurrently, so that the multiplicity of events and the momentum can be seen on the timeline as a snapshot and as an analysis of the movement.
